![]() Which is fine imho because the campaigns were always more of an introduction to the game than anything else and it's random maps we're going to be playing for years. ![]() ![]() ![]() So it doesn't have long narrative campaigns with switching between races and multiple POVs like previous AoW titles. Also one of the youtubers said the missions maps are randomly generated every time, no idea if that's true or not tho. You play and beat mission 1 and then you can play mission 2. If i'm getting it right it's basically just 2 missions for each faction to give you an idea of the universe and a feel for the factions. It's like neither if i understand it right. So if i do tutorial, then 1 mission humans, then what next? missions 1 and 1 for other two races or mission 2 human? Read your story on here before, loved it.Originally posted by tenser:but do you jump between factions within campaign or its more like starcraft, where you do 3 factions and you should do them in sequence for the story to make sense - human->zerg>protos I’ve started the Heritor campaign, and I’m enjoying it. My independent Dvar was kind of a pain to fight, but I had a few allies from earlier (Amazon sided with CORE to finish original mission, I think maybe the Kir’Ko, too. Took a while to realize that my heroes would all show up in the final mission. Especially while those other Assembly players were nipping at my borders. I was doing the 1st mission but something went wrong ,i dunno if that suppose to happen or not. I considered siding with L0G3N, but reeaaally didn’t want to traipse around the map and take out all of the non-Assembly players. I love the sturdy, slow, big guns of the Dvar, the regenerating teamwork of the Kir’Ko (and those Hidden!), the aggressive play style encouraged by the Assembly. ![]() I can honestly say that I enjoy playing each faction. I role played the Vanguard as wanting to restore order, as close as possible to the old Star Union, so I sided with CORE.Īctually really enjoyed the campaigns, they encouraged me to play factions I might not have tried for a while (Syndicate is way more fun than I expected) and combos I might not have considered (Dvar Xenoplague?). kind of liked returning to Vanguard after learning how to play from the other campaigns. I’m playing the second Dvar campaign quest, where after rejecting Carminia’s offer you are tasked with fighting and killing the echo of Lohirkarne. ![]()
